Track descriptions:
'Cure' - I started this song one night when I was feeling a lot of anxiety about my work and feeling like I had a lost a lot of my joy. I realized that a lot of the things that I was chasing after weren't fulfilling me. I had checked off a ton of boxes and had accomplished a lot of the things I wanted to achieve but they didn't necessarily satisfy me. I've spent a lot of my life trying to derive my self-worth out of my own success, which never works out, because the second that I don't measure up to my own expectations I can feel worthless. So this song is about asking, whats the cure for that? Is there something out there that can satisfy that longing in my heart, that isn't just conditional. On the production - I pitched down an acoustic guitar in the chorus so that it sounded a little more like a bass, but I just wanted it to feel really raw and almost like you were listening to it live.

‘Overdue' is about just wanting to get away. So many times in my work or my day to day life I can feel like I'm stuck in a routine and every day can sort of start feeling the same. I naturally gravitate towards deeper concepts lyrically and I think that's one of the reasons I like this song so much, just because its so simple conceptually. Really its just saying, I need a vacation; I need to see something new; I need a refresher.
